The No Signal thing is your monitor saying it doesn't have anything from the PC to display; the PC has nothing to do with that.  Try refitting the card to the PC to make sure it's in there right, and if your PC boots then you should see something (especially if your cables are all plugged in right and your monitor is paying attention to the interface the PC is on, not some other source it could be fed (e.g. SVHS, composite, DVI-D...)

Hi my pc boots and fans are spinning like normal

Maybe in the BIOS the setting is to an internal video card, using part of the CPU.
Check this by connecting an other computer screen with the connectors directly from the motherboard: in this photo the red box are the connectors directly from the motherboard, try using one of these in stead of the yellow box, (that is the connectors from the graphics card). As you can see I use a DVI to VGA adapter.

If you have a screen connected and can see something on it:
Then go into your BIOS: press Del / Esc, or F1, F2, the right button is mostly displayed at the bottom of the screen at startup during Power on Self Test (POST).
Search for video/graphics settings, set that to external graphics. Press F10 (save changes and exit) and powerdown the machine.
Now connect your screen to the graphics card connector and power up the machine.

Be aware that DVI connectors (the white ones) are not all the same and can give connection errors.

Good luck with trying !!!
Let me know if this worked for you.

Monitor states No signal. this is a new computer, just today

Make sure you are connecting the monitor signal lead to the correct signal output on the rear of the machine. Some desktops have extra video out connectors when they have a graphics card fitted. If yours has a graphics card the display connector will be away from the back USB ,audio and keyboard ports and near to some silver pop out panels near the bottom of the tower.

Emachine ET1850 model when turn on no display picture.

Check ALL monitor cables, reseat connections. Have you done any hardware or software updates? Graphics Updates? Do you get anything at boot? Just no signal? It sound like a hardware issue, Graphics. Support for your machine can be found here: http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/product/default.aspx?modelId=2064 You could buy a PCI e x16 Graphic Card . Better ,faster Graphics. First, check VGA connections, reseat, check for bent pins. Try another cable and monitor, to verify.

Check if you VGA is properly settled in the PCI slot. Try to take it out, clean the slot for dust.
If that doesn't help, it is well possible that you VGA is not working any more.

Make sure the cable to the PC is secure by tightening the screws on each plug. If the problem still exists then you need to take it back to the shop where you bought it from. It could be a fault graphics card or connector.

The monitor keeps saying no signal

Turn power off to the tower and the monitor before making any connection changes.Make sure that the Blue connector from your monitor is connected to the Blue connector on the back of the computer tower. If this doesn't work you should try the monitor with another computer, just to check that the monitor is working. If the monitor works on another computer you may need to buy a Graphics Card. Next, try another monitor with your tower- If the problem still exists it is likely you need a Graphics Card.

You will have to go into BiOS and change the graphics settings from on board graphics to PCI, AGP, or Pci-e depending on what kind of graphics card you have. It will be one of the 3 listed, if your computer is relatively new it's more than likely PCI-e, If it's fairly old it could be one of the other 2.

I just connected my desktop and when i turn on the monitor it says "VGA NO SIGNAL"

There seems to be a conflict between the integrated graphics chipset and the new graphics card.If there is power and only no signal then it gotta be with the VGA. Are you using a onboard VGA or External? (VGA/Graphic card) Try checking the VGA cable running from the CRT to the back of the System its a thick black/blue cable. Restart/Reboot your system whether it's functioning or not? If not you may need to disable the integrated graphics chipset in the BIOS.
If it's not working than you better go to service centre "Customer care".
Good Luck Thanks.

Compaq 510s sff. Graphics Card

Hi Mikey You need to go to your bios setting and change your graphic adaptor from PCI/.. to AGP 1- turn your computer off (Shut Down) 2- keep press and release "delete" key on your keyboard while turning your computer on untill you go to bios (normally blue screen) 3-find your desplay/graphic or anything that is related to graphic. 4- Change it to AGP Now it should work but if it didn't work: 1- Faulty Display (Monitor) 2- Not compatible graphic card(rearly) 3- loose or damaged cables 4- Damaged Motherboard please let me know of your progress Kind Regards
