My motorola 1776 takes a really long time to recieve and send texts or sometimes doesnt even recieve them. I heard of some code that you can put in the phone so it can recieve the texts faster

if you call your service provider they should have the code to put into the phone and then send this should counteract this problem

I don't think that there really is anything you can do. From what your saying it sounds like your phone is completly shelled out. Sorry.. I recommend getting a new one!

go to settings ---> call barring ---> then click on Data calls ----> cancel .

this should enable sms send and recieve.

it might just be a feature that you dont have included into your plan

you could take the phone to a mobile service center and ahve them reflash the firmware for you.

you need to make sure that the phone number you are sending it to has an area code.
if you recieve a text from "Joe Blow" you can just press reply and his # will be put in for

That all depends on your service provider. Most Q's cannot send picture messages but you can send email with attachments. So if your service provider doesnt offer picture messages with the q then all you can do is email them to others.

Its common with motos razors to get freeze ups. I even heard about it happening when sending sms or working on the calendar. If you think it might be the humidity, you could try putting it in an airing cupboard for a few days, with bat disconnected. If nothing works, try getting it fixed on warranty if valid, just don't mention the humidity part ;] good luck
