HP Photosmart C6100 All-in-One

I can't seem to get my printer to print from the photo tray.  It keeps telling me to put in the paper face down and it is already there.  I am not sure what to try next.  I did not get any help from the basic guide.  Do you have any suggestions.  It has worked previously.

I have an HPC6100 All-in-One printer that does not recognize when I have photo paper in the photo paper tray. I keep getting the error message that I need to put in paper. One answer was to replace or clean the roller and I am not sure where it is an if I can get to it. Is this a common problem with the HP? Also, FixYa said the paper might be too thick, but it is the paper that comes with the printer cartridges, so I don't think that is the problem.

Try using different kind/type of photo paper? Like thinner than you were using. Also try to detach the tray put it back in.

Yeah it is a common problem in printer..One choice is you can change the paper and try..Also the roller is the paper where the paper gets the cyclic movement in the printer..If your familiar then remove the catridge and then clean the roller parts and others below catridge..this will help you surely..thank you!!

    Kind Regards!!..

Printer won't pick up paper to print or copy. paper is loaded put registers as 'out of paper, load paper face down in main tray'. this has all been done. What's wrong

If it's in the 1st paper tray, pull out the tray and check if theres a sensor. Check if it's out of position, if it is, place it back in position. If the printer still says 'load paper' the sensor is most likely faulty.

Hp c6180 won't print from 4x6 photo paper tray

If you put regular paper in the tray as it is asking does the printer use the regular paper to print the picture? If so, be sure the 4x6 photo paper tray (with photo paper) is pushed all the way in, and when you select print there should be an option (probably hidden in a submenu) to select the photo tray as the paper source. If you are printing from Adobe Acrobat, I have not found a reliable way to get the c6180 to use the photo paper tray. I hope this helps.

How do u put the print paper in facing up or facing down printer photosmart c4750

If ordinary paper it does not matter. If photo paper then put it in the feeder tray glossy side down and one sheet at a time as glossy paper tends to stick and causes paper jams.

My printer c5280 keeps saying please reinsert or lower photo tray

If it is asking for photo paper you should be able to hit ok on the screen and then it should go to the default screen and be ready to print.
