When sending email with attachments (.doc, .pdf, etc.), mail is sent, however, email remains in the Outbox (which is unusual), where normally, email is then transferred to Sent items. When testing with .txt attachments, once email is sent out thru Outbox, it then is transferred to Sent.

How do I delete a blocking sent email on my ipad?

This is one way I've found to delete an email stuck in the outbox (which is what it "sounds like" you are asking...)

1. change ya smtp settings so the message defo wont send!
2. send a test email to anyone
3. it will attempt to send but oversiously fail...
4. hopefully the outbox should be listed with 1 message waiting to go out...
5. if not, try going into the Activity Window and canceling the send command, that should show it up...
6. click the Outbox and the will be one message listed...
7. goto View -> then Show Favourites Bar
8. you should see a favourites bar appear...
9. simply drop and drag the Outbox into your favourites bar...
10. if you restart ur laptop or close mail and then the Outbox has disappeard, simply click the Outbox in you favourites tab and woop woop it should appear in the Side Bar

I can not attach a doc to email

Maybe it is not the format that is the issue. Some e-mail servers limit the size of attachments. If a file could not be sent as .doc, try to convert it to pdf and send it in this format.

My emails are going to outbox without sending to reciver

If you have Offline Gmail enabled, you'll notice that all your mail now goes through the outbox, regardless of whether you're online or offline. This allows Gmail to capture all attachments, even if you suddenly get disconnected from [the] network. If you're online, your mail will quickly be sent along to its destination."
Most times it means you do not have an internet connection... so the emails sit in the "outbox" until gmail has a connection to the internet. Once it does, it will send the emails in the "outbox"

Outlook is sending multiple emails

Check your outbox and make sure the email you tried to send is no longer there because outlook tends to try and try sending a previously unsent email message.
Make sure the outbox is cleaned up.
In sending email with attachments, make sure the attachment is not too big that it exceeds 5mb to avoid these type of incidents, as a work around for multiple attachments you can try sending them in a different email message.

Will not print, printer icon comes on but zero pages to print

numbered_list.gifIn your email program once you send a message it will go from the outbox to the sent items. if there was any problem it would not appear in the sent items box, but would remain in the outbox and would post an error to you.
Now- go to tools, options, receipts tab, and put a check mark in the first box. And send your email as normal. That way when they open the email at their end you get a message that says they opened your email at their end.
