You need to rebuild the cartridge. There are small o rings inside and dirt and other particles in the water tear them.

TAPE OVER THE DRAIN UNTIL FINISHED.

Turn off the water, pull the handle, unscrew the retaining portion of the bezel usually with thumb traction ribs. THe whole plactic part pulls out. Take this with you to a plumbing place, and likely you can get one for free...

Alternatively, you can call Price Pfister, and they well likely send what you need to your door...probably for free...

Water dripping from the Shower Head of a Mira Elite QT when unit is off

It sounds like you may have a problem with the internal plumbing of your shower unit. The filter at the bottom of the unit may be clogged, or there may be a problem with the valve that controls the flow of water to the shower head.
To troubleshoot this issue, you could try the following steps:
  1. Check the filter at the bottom of the unit for any debris or clogs. If the filter is dirty, clean it out and see if that helps stop the dripping.
  2. If the filter is clean, try shutting off the water supply to the shower and then opening the valve that controls the flow of water to the shower head. This will allow any excess water to drain out of the unit.
  3. If the dripping persists after these steps, it may be necessary to call a plumber to diagnose and fix the problem. It's possible that there is a problem with the internal plumbing of the unit that will require professional repair.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I have no water pressure from shower and it drips when off

Replace shower head and see if the clog is located at the head.
Next suspect is the shower valve.

Stop the drip by using a shower shut off valve ... it saves a bit of money each month and eliminate the aggravation

I have a drip, drip, drip from my shower head on my triton t90x can you please advise. thank you

A shower head will drip for a period of time but I will assume that it is dripping continually. Servicing the Mixing Valve is what is needed to fix the continual drip. there are several 'O' rings washers that eventually wear down causing problems. These parts are serviceable and kits with instructions can be purchased at plumbing shops, DIY Stores, Hardware Stores. I hope this has helped thanks for using FIXYA. Good luck and have a great day. Leaking shower head

Not unless you had a backward plumber , If the diverter at the faucet is open for tub, then no water will go up the shower, The shower may hold enough water up there to make it look like a drip, Even if the valve was leaking all the time, it would not go up, it would come out the faucet. It only works with pressure. Unless the valve was plumbed wrong,,, Hope this helps.

For some reason, my rain shower head drips like it is slightly turned on. I have never noticed this problem until I changed the thermostats and elements in my water heater. I believe the shower head is...

Remove the shower head and flush the plumbing by opening both valves fully. When you did the heater work, you dislodged some scale . Now it's in the shut off valve. It's no big deal as long as you hsaven't forced anything to stop it. Good Luck_Ned_
