Question about Panasonic Computers & Internet
Well, if it was from the same lot, I guess it should light up!
Supposedly they tell you what part you should order if you e-mail Toughbook_Tech_Support@us.panasonic.com , but you have to give a full model number, not just CF-28 or such.
You might double-check that you have the same Toshiba power management utilities running on your box as your neighbors, in case Windows decided not to get along with them last week.
Hey, look at that! http://repair4laptop.org/disassembly_panasonic.html That oughtta help get to any failed component (which, if it's an LED, you can check with a couple of button cells if not a 3.7V supply.)
Or just ....no, maybe not the "putting a LED into the case" one, that one has you drilling a -new- hole in the case someplace else so a LED can shine out of there onto the keys below.
