I have an xbox live account. i added 1000 points today, also tried to add another 500 but it gave me an error code. at this time ir ealized i neede dto upgrade my account so i went to add money (8.99) for one month, with my visa cards (both) and i got the same error message about visit the support page. This error is supposed to be a temporary downloading error on Live's account, not your own. Wait a little while and try the download again.

The support staff for the Xbox 360 are the only ones on earth who can help you unless there are some divine entities around here that I don't know about.

Make sure that you have it correctly as you enter it in, either the points have been added to your account, or the code is damaged or already been redeemed, and you must contact xbox live about a new code!

Those features that you cant use are the access. Go to anything that requires xbox live in the main menu and press it. It should then give you a option to connect to xbox live. then you simply follow the on screen instructions and its done!
