Clothes don't spin dry enough

Hi
I have a Whirlpool Duet front load washer and lately the spin cycle does not get the clothes very dry. They come out only about as dry as they'd get if you hand wrung them lightly. The washer does spin but I don't know if it's not long enough or some other problem.

I can't tell if the washer spins fast enough or long enough. How would I know that? All I know is that when the washer says it's done, the clothes are not very dry. Running it through another spins cycle does get them a little drier, but not as dry as they used to get at the end of one spin cycle. The washer is 4 years old.

You mean to say the clothes are tangled with each other tightly right?

To prevent your clothes from getting all tangled and knotted, you want to
avoid combining heavy clothes with light clothes, don't make the load
too big or too small, use the proper water levels for the load sizes,
don't wrap any items around the agitator, and make sure that the wash
    water isn't too hot.

Is the heating element working, have you tested it or noticed whether your clothes are coming out warm. It may have gone bad and needs replacing. Let me know if you have questions with this or need a place to buy the part. There are many online sites that will sell you a new element

my best to you

I am so sorry, I totally thought it was a dryer, I must be getting tired.

Is there any water left in the machine when it is done? How long does it stay in the spin cycle.

Whirlpool Duet Sport Dryer front load leaks water underneath the dryer when drying heavy duty clothes

The clothes then are too wet for the heat to evaporate. Spin extra time to get rid of as much water as possible before putting them in dryer.

Can I make the water level on my whirlpool duet washer higher?

its because of the design of the machine they are water efficient.a front load uses any where from 15 to 18 gals. compared to 40 to 50 gals.for a top load. they also have a higher spin rate than the top loader, therefore making your close dryer and having a less drying time in the dryer.energy efficient too!!

Whirlpool lhw0050pq washer will not spin

Possible your belt is loose; you have to unscrew the back after disconnecting electrical connection from wall socket. If the belt "gives" more than half an inch, you have to loosen the motor bolts and push motor upwards, then tighten the bolts very well. Try spin only to check, before closing the behind. It shd spin very fast.
