Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

PNY USB 2.0 Flash Drive not recognized by my computer (operating software installation not recommended as it's not "digitally signed" by Windows for use in XP, although the Flesh cover states compatibility with XP and when tested on vendor's in-store tech dept comp, apparently works ok?!)

Just go to system properties in control panel and in that hardware tab select device manager see any question mark or exclamation mark in yellow colour appear when u connect u r USB 2.0 flash drive if it appears then u should install driver for that or else

on windows xp what service pack r u running just check it i.e,
Right click on my computer go to properties if it is Service pack 2
then problem will not come if it comes just install drivers or else
if it is Service Pack 1 then upgrade to Service Pack 2

u can find Service Packs in Microsoft.com in downloads

Find driver for pny 64g flash

Maybe the flash drive has gone bad (belly up). Try a different usb port on the computer.

Try the Flash Drive on another computer and see if it recognizes it. If not, the drive is gone bad.

You don't need drivers for it. Think about it, did you install a driver for it when you purchased it and first plugged it in? The operating system picks it up automatically and installs the drivers through windows.

But, if you want to see if there are some drivers for it, try PNY's website.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "PNY Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the drivers.

Pny 2gb not recognized by windows vista

Try connecting it some other computers.
If it does not work at all, spend $8 to replace it.
If it does work, then it's either the "hardware" on your computer, or the Vista "software" (wrong/missing USB device-drivers).

Usb device installed but does not show up in my

First, try it in a different USB port on your computer.

Connect it to a different computer.
If it is still _not_ recognized, then it is "dead".
If it is recognized, then it's your computer that has the problem.

How to delete video and music on a pny 4g flash drive

Plug the USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer. An Explorer window will popup once it's recognized by Windows.

Click on the file you want to delete so it's highlighted. Right click and choose delete. It's that simple.

Have you installed a scanner/another external USB drive since first trying your Flash drive? If so, try unplugging that and re-insert your Flash drive. I had this problem and a friend suggested this and it worked!

I have a pny 4gb usb 2.0 flash drive black.instructions needed.

Most USB drives are "plug n play" meaning you just plug it in to a USB 2 port and your operating system will recognize it as a drive. If you're using Windows ME/XP/Vista, just plug it into a USB 2 port and once its recognized you'll be able to send files and folders directly to it by right clicking the file or folder and moving your mouse over SEND TO and selecting the drive from the list.

Hi,
What operating system are you running ??
If it,s windows 98 you,ll have problems, as they don,t like mass staorage devices, even with the drivers installed.
the other alternative, is to try on another PC And format it to FAT/FAT32 Or NTFS ( if your using XP )
