have you tried to redownload the synaptics driver and the touchpad utility from Toshiba website? I had a similar issue before with a Dell and had to reinstall the latest driver to resolve issue

You maybe need to update your drivers from here:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1998675&rpn=PSLB1U&modelFilter=L300-EZ1004X&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768667

Try to down load the driver for the touch pad.
Down load all the drivers there is outdated for your windows version.
And update as many as you can.

Good luck.

Sounds like a driver issue with the touch pad. You should try and reinstall the driver.

follow that link..it will take you to the driver page for your model laptop.

My acer 15.6inch the cursor is frozen wont move

Hello,

Which mouse are you using? Is it the integrated mouse or the USB mouse?

If you are using the USB mouse, then try checking if it's plugged in correctly.

If it's your integrated mouse, then restart the computer and when it's up. Try moving your mouse. Restarting it usually does the trick.

If restarting it won't fix the problem, then restart and boot to safe mode. While restarting, tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Highlight safe mode by using the arrow keys and hit enter. When you are in safe mode, try moving your mouse. Works or not - update the mouse driver. You can use RadarSync. If no go, then you might need to do a system restore. If worse comes worst, do a complete operating system reinstallation.

I hope this helps!

If you are using the touch pad, try turn it off and using an USB mouse. I have found that my palm hits the touch pad and causes random cursor movements.

Turn the SYNET07526 over and insert a tooth pick in a small hole 1in diagonally right of the lower right side of the data plate. This will reset your machine and possibly fix the problem by loading a fresh copy of the operating system

Hi, the cursor/mouse is frozen in the middle of the screen. Please help?

u need an external mouse first to fix this problem, probably a USB mouse. then please check the laptop mouse drivers from the device manager. update them if needed. if it still doesn't work then probably the device is damaged. you will have to take it to the service center to get the required changes done

Mouse is frozen on the start up screen, I can't click or move it at all.

Check whether any other mouse is working fine with your laptop or not. If any other mouse is working fine with your laptop the problem is with the mouse . Replace it. If you are using a USB mouse try changing the USB port , if you are using a PS/2 mouse purchase a new USB mouse. It will be better to handle USB mouse rather than PS/2 for laptops.

FROZEN CURSOR

Sounds like the touch pad is not working anymore. try using a USB mouse and see if that works. also, see if you can reinstall the touch pad software to fix that.

Mouse Cursor Frozen

If your plugging it into a P2P (which are the green and purple circular ports that your and keyboard go into) for mouse to get power, it would require a restart. I suggest using a USB mouse because it a plug n go.
