SOURCE: Toro 22in Lawn mower. Loud gear noise when try to engage drive.

Problem is in the rear pinion gears on rear axle and the design of the axle itself. I have a 2005 model 20041 had the same problem. I found a Toro dealer that had the fix.The problem is creadted by the fact that there is too much "play" in the rear axle. You have to limit that play by installing shims, or washers First, but the 2 new rear pinion gears for the rear axle. While you're at it, you may as well buy 2 new rear wheels because the "grinding" has worn the sprockets on the reas r wheels.Next, get 2 "fender washers", 1/2" ID and about 1" OD. I found it easier to turn the mower over and set it on saw horses to work on it.( drain the gas and oil first). Remove both rear wheels, pinion gears and all the washers etc. (caution - keep all parts from one side together - do not pile all parts together - keep them seperated by wheel - the reason is I believe there is one more washer/shim on the right side than on the left). Now to put everything back together, find a spot on the axle where the washer will fit in between the standard stuff.Install new pinion gears and replace the rest of the washers/shims just as they came off. INstall new wheels and you'll be good as new!

The presser foot won't go down.

Yes indeed, it is possible--sounds to me like a screw worked itself loose. However, I would purchase the service manual for your machine. As a bonus, it tells you how to make all kinds of useful adjustments.

Go to Sewing Parts Online and do a search under Singer Service Manuals; if they don't have it in stock, call or email them and they will be happy to order it for you. Generally takes two weeks to get it in stock.

I need to adjust my scag mower deck

The mower deck can be adjusted from a height of 1.0 inch to 6.0 inches at 1/4-inch intervals. To adjust the cutting height:
1. Disengage the power to the cutter blades.
2. Push the cutting height adjustment foot pedal all the way forward using your right foot until it locks in place
3. Insert the lanyard pin into the cutting height index at the desired cutting height. Push forward on the deck lift foot lever, hold in place and pull back on the deck release lever. Slowly release the foot pedal. A deck height decal is located on the cutting height index as an aid in adjusting the deck to the desired height.

Alko concord t11-75

Look under shifter linkage for a cotter pin that connects shift lever to transmission. If this is out or linkage is bent this could be your problem. If these parts are ok you most likely have internal damage to transmission.

Hydrostatic lawnmower doesn'i want to move

There will not be any actual adjust in the unit, there will be some adjustment in the rods from the hand/foot lever, if you can see the arm moving freely on the unit when you work the foot/hand lever it is probably not a linkage problem, if there is an external brake disc, make sure the brake is not binding, finally somewhere on the unit will be a bypass lever for push mode, make sure this has not been engaged.

Brake light not coming on with foot brake. have to apply a lot of pressure on front brake for brake light to come on

Loosen the bolts that hold the front brake master cylinder and move the master cylinder slightly towards the center of the bike. "Adjust" the brake light by moving the assembly out and back until you get it like you want. Another method requres disassembly of the brake lever. Remove the E-clip from the bottom of the lever pin and remove it. Take the brake lever out. There's a plunger with a tab on it that actuates the front brake light switch. By bending this tab, you can adjust when the light comes on. Bend the tab forward to make the light come on earlier.

Good luck
