It may be a hair or other nuisance on your sensor. Hand it over to your local repair shop to find out.
You have a better chance of fixing it if it's a line of dead pixels than a scratch. In the mean time, quick fix in an image editor.

A blue line keeps showing up wheni take pictures

You only can be sure it is on the sensor, when also on the pictures is a blue line. To check, zoom in on a picture, or evaluate the picture on your computer.
If the line is on the picture too, you can be sure the cause is to be found in, or close by the sensor.

I think you immersed camera in water. This might have damaged corroded contact of LCD supply line and PCB.

My nikon cool pix has a white line the screen?

Hello Bettylue.

If the line is permanant it is a fault with the lcd screen. If the line shows in the pictures displayed on a different screen the fault is with the lens or other component. LCD screens can be replaced quite easily and have come down in price a lot in the last few years. If you are somewhat handy and feel comfortable opening the camera a little web searching may allow you to do the repair. If you can live with the line and it doesn't show on the pics it will probably last quite a while as it is.

I hope this is of some help... Dale

I have a Canon PowerShot SX10IS. About a year ago, a line began showing up on all of my pictures. The line shows up as white and shows up clearer/more prominent in low lighting or the further I zoom in. ...

this is a problem with ccd sensor of your camera and cleaning will not help, it needs to be replaced by canon service center, the cost is not viable, it is a expensive job

Your camera likely needs a new CCD imaging sensor. It is a cute little thing and is very expensive to replace. I've seen deals to repair any digital camera on eBay and I would check for a local repair person in your area. You can use the search on this site to see who might be close by. I have an A310 doing the same thing.

Casio Exilim s500--horizontal lines in picture and autofocus creates blurry pics

It appears this problem is due a failing CCD device in many brand cameras. All the manufactures use the same source(s). I have not persued Casio as yet, but other companies are offering a recall to replace the CCD for free. I plan to use this approach with Casio. Search the web for "failing CCD in digital camera", it describes exactly what we are observing.

Canon A520 Vertical line appear on images

This appears to be a failing component possibly the CCD. It may be possible to replace the camera if this is the case An offer to repair however will be almost the price of buying the next camera. Contact the Canon support website.

Upper part of pictures is black

This seems to be a CCD problem or associated circuits. Sony Support Team should know about this - may mean a camera callback or swap from Sony.
