You mentioned Z25.
Who is that made by?

In most cases you just have to go to the manufacturer website and download the driver information.
In some cases, you can use the print drivers for a different printer. It will get the printer to print, but you may not have all of the special features enabled.

Cannot connect the printer

Well. we would require lots more information, like printer brand, model and method of connection. Many older printers do not work in newer computers. Old printers used serial cables, and that just does not cut it. Even some USB printers will not work on newer OS.

How do you hook up printer to el1200

How old is the printer and what is the model, if it is a newer type with an end that plugs in to the coputer.
It is called a USB -universal serial bus connection. Simply plug in the printer to the PC, start the PC and then the plug and play portion of the computer will find the printer. It will ask for driver, if you have the software for the printer, just point the computer to the drive with the CD.

D:not accessible,incorrect function

If you've used the Drive before, then one of two things is possible. First, your disk may not be formatted. If you're using Windows XP or Windows Vista, you can format the CD if it's a RW (re-writable) type disk.

If it's not an RW type disk then you must use a software package to burn the pics to the CD. Also, make sure the type and writing speed of the CD is compatible with your system. Some older CD writers won't use the Newer 8X type disks. You'll need the newer type to us that type disk. If you're using older disks with a newer driver, then go purchase new disks and try again.

To make sure the driver itself is working, put in a disk you purchased, which you know is good, and see if your drive can read it. If not, then the drive is bad.

CD's won't play on Home & Car stereo after Burning in Mp3 or WAv

most older car and home stereos will NOT play mp3's or wav files reguardless what kind of CD they are written on.
You need a newer stereo OR convert the mp3s to cd audio and then burn them to any recordable cd.. (audio cds can be read by any cd player but will take more space)

Don't know how to setup printer or hook to computer

Hello calbj5, Since you didn't provide a make /model computer or printer..all I can provide is general guidelines for you.. Your printer will have a few features in that you will need to determine what fits your system best.. Many newer printers use a USB port to communicate with the computer.. This is a modular type plug ( one end will match the plug on your printer ) and the other end will be plugge dinto any available USB port on the back of your computer, ( older systems used what they call a D-Type cable assembly ) and if tha is what you require, you willl need to get that cable. Like I said.. most newer style printers come with the USB type cable as standard. You will also find the power cord provided with your printer..One ened plugs into the back or side mating plug of the printer and the other to your power receptacle ( hopefully you are using a surge protector set up)
Once you have both cables hooked up and plugged in.. you've probably been provided with a CD that came with your computer as well as instructions for loading the drivers on that CD ( most of the time) you just insert the CD into your CD player and it wil ask a few questions and self load.. Please let me know if this gets you going or youneed clarification.. It's always a good idea to provide brand and model numbers in your questions.. That helps us in helping you.. Good Luck !
