Question about Palm Zire 31 Handheld

1 Answer

Palm zire 31 screen is fading. I cant read the words anymore

In the past two days my Zire 31 screen has gotten lighter, the print is so faded that I am having trouble reading it. I would like to know if the screen brightness has any commands on the unit. Does the battery wear out? If so, can it be easily replaced?
Thank you,
Stevenson Hickey

I would like to know whether my screen should be wearing out. I have had it for 2 plus years and have not used it a lot in the first year, but the second year I have used it about 1 hour a day.
What is the expected lifetime of the screen?
    Thanks for any help,

    Stevenson

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

No, only if you synchronized with another device beforehand. Using Palm Desktop, eg, you could synchronize and get the list back.

New computer running Vista won't recognize Zire 31-no driver?

Have you installed PalmDesktop to your new computer yet?

There is no Windows driver for the Zire 31, but you will need Palm Desktop before you can sync.

I still have a Zire 31 in a box in the garage, and I'm happy to dig things off of the CD if you need anything, just use "add comment" in the top right corner there.

There is a reset pin hole on the back of the unit; Hold the power button and push the reset button in the hole with a paperclip. All memory should now be erased.
