CLP -315 Keeps telling me that yellow toner is empty when it is not( Brand New One ) Can Only get it to print when i open front of printer then close it again

What does the Smart Panel say? It normally tells you what the problem is. Is the wastetonercontainer full? If so, the printer does not work untill you empty it and put it back. You do not need to buy a new waste toner container. This is my third CLP-310/315 so I know what I´m talking about. HowcanImaketheselettersssmaller?[email protected]
Finaly got it.
Pull out the four toner cartridges and also the drum unit , staying in
front of the printer , on the right side of the drum unit, you will find
a small box with two contacts.
You need to solder a 63ma ( worked for me) fuse in paralel with two
rezistors that it contains. It is hold by a small klipp - it is easy to
get it out. You also need to empty the waste toner behind the opc , drum
or watever you call it . Restart the printer after putting alltogether.
The second solution is to buy a new one but its price talk for itself - close to a new printer :-)
A reset chip is available from several vendors that overrides the printer's internal counter. This reset chip is installed on the motherboard, either by hooking tiny wires around the contacts of an IC chip, or by soldering. This reset chip is becoming easier to find. Check out ebay and other online vendors.
