Question about Pioneer 10-Inch Subwoofer Grille Udg256
The car is a 1999 Hyundai Excel with the original equipment Philips DC155/97 which needs an access code. Where can we get this code?
If you just say something like, I just spent alot of money fixing my car in your garage the tech will prob. get you the code for free It worked for me.

You need the vin number of the car the radio came from and also you need the serial number of the radio. Together with this info, go to a Hyundai dealer and for a small fee they will get the unlocking code from the data base.

I used to work for hyundai, I'm not sure about 1999 excel but the older hyundais to get the code off their factory radio you add 1212 to the last 4 digits of the radios serial number/barcode number, e.g 2435 2+1 4+2 3+1 5+2 and that's your code, I can't guarentee that'll work but that's what the procedure was that we were charging $50 for.
I'm based in australia, might be different for different countries/states
