Can't load music from cd's played on my computer

The PMP283C-4 MP3 player plays music in the MP3 format... Many media players/rippers (free to download) will rip your CD to MP3 and you can then load the music MP3s to your player's memory by connecting the player to your computer with the USB data cable. (the player shows up in My Computer as "Removable Disk").

If you would like to download music from the computer to the MP3 player, please follow the steps below:

1. First, you must download music from a website or from a CD, then save the music into a folder in your computer.

2. Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Once detected, you will be prompted to either play, browse or to open the folder. You must open the folder.

3. While the MP3 folder is open, you must open the folder in your computer where you saved the music.

4. Then, simply drag and drop the music from the folder in your computer going to the MP3 player folder.

Then you should see a progress of transferring music.

if its right you just copy the shortcut of the music from your cd to your windows media player, meaning you cannot play that song in the media player if the cd is not inserted, you have to rip first the cd to your pc then put it in your mp3. Also make sure that you rip it in the right format that your mp3 can play, media player automatically rip the music as wma not mp3, make sure your mp3 player can play wma.

Are you sure that you have a cd drive? It could be that it is only a dvd drive. It could also be that the cd has a scratch or is unreadable.

Hello I was looking to try and help you with your DVD player, we will start by loading a music cd store purchased, no burned cds please, if the cd loads and plays then your dvd player is either out of adjustment or going bad, most dvd players, i have worked on, will load and play a music cd, but will show loading errors when trying DVD's. If the music cd dosen't load then there could be an issue with the drive or tray. If the music cd plays just fine, then your laser is either out of adjustment or going bad. You can call the manufacuter to see if there is a process for resetting the DVD player, not all DVD players have this option, if resetting the DVD player dosen't work, but music cd's do then your laser lens is dirty or going bad. At this point you have three options 1) Take it to a repair shop, 2) Get an new one, 3) Get your hands dirty if your really handy and know what your doing to clean and replace the laser. Besure that the cd inserted is readable by your CD rom.

You can open your windows media player.
click file menu,
then click open. browse your CD drive and select all the musics files and then click ok.

click play.

If this not resolve then verify if your computer has a speaker, not mute the volume control. or the device controller is installed properly. (the audio driver)
