Unreadable disc

Sounds like the Xbox is trying to find a piece of data that it need to go further and because of a dirty or scratched disk, it can't find it. If you want to verify whether it's your disk or your Xbox, go to your local game rental store and rent a copy of the same game to see if you have the same problem.

How to find best deals in online game rental

If you really want to find best online game rental then we insist you consider few things before you start. Do take notice of certain things before you join any gaming club. You have to know what games you like and play the most and then select the clubs which offer you these games. Many times DVD rental sites also offer games rental and if you are a movie buff then you can enjoy both at the same time. Another important factor here is the location of shipping. If you are getting games from one coast to another then there will be an obvious delay in receipt but a nearer location will ensure quick delivery.

Ascertain your gaming routine then you will know how many games you can play in a month’s time without wasting any games for which you have paid and don’t have time to play. The best online games rental for you will be the one which offers your playable number of games in a month’s span at cheapest rates. This can be easily done by side-by-side comparisons of the online games rental services. Comparisons are done based on criterion like monthly charges, user comments, ratings on the basis of feature set, video game selection, search capabilities, games arrival time, available plans etc.
While comparing plans offered by the online game rentals one should deliberate on the number of plans offered by each because it shows the flexibility that can be enjoyed. Best online games rental must offer
show available video game genres, have video games titles, an option to purchase video games you like, a brief game summary for the new user, games reviews by the users, parental control option, no late fees, no due dates and free two way shipping, if you want the best one website to rent video games so try our review of GameMine.

Hi You Writing Great Post, But I Think you wrong some of things here, because:...

I know this doesn't have much to do with Tech Problems, but it is something that I can't ignore for much longer. Many of my friends complain to me about purchasing games and not being able to stand playing them for more than half an hour.
Can you imagine how bad of a game it must have been? Can you imagine the look on my face when my friends told me about it?

If you can imagine the two things listed above, I am more than 80% sure that you know how to pick out a good video game. If you can't imagine, or you just feel like reading up on some useful tips, here are some things to do to insure that the game you are going to buy will be an all time favorite and not a waste of money:
1. If a new game comes out, and you aren't sure if you should buy it, ask around. If no one you know that is even sorta into video games hasn't heard of it, the game is more than likely something less than "stellar." But if everyone is talking about, it is obviously an blockbuster game, and you would be wise to buy it.
2. Check the ratings the game got! This is a major part in picking out a game, because you will know just about where the game you are thinking about is ranked. A good site to check would be IGN.com, the staff have reviewed almost every game in existence, so I recommend checking it out.
3. Have you heard the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover?" When it comes to picking out video games, that statement is completely false. For example, if you see a game with furry animals on the cover, and they are all dancing together, I would recommend you not getting that game unless you are either a still "kid-spirited," or are getting it for a child.

Now you know three guidelines to picking out the right video games, follow them, and you will only buy the best of video games. This is Rippster1214, signing out.

Wii downloaded games wont let 2 play

In order to play your downloaded games you will have to mod your Wii. It involves ALOT of soldering and a mod chip. You also have the chance to break your unit, along with disabling all updates, downloadable content, and all the little perks you can access through Wiiware. My solution to you is rent the games from your local game rental place, and buy them if you like them.

I put a rental game in my ps3 an it updated the ps3 with the software on the game. The game played in the ps3 for about half an hour and then it froze and stopped working what can i do to fix it?

Sounds to me like you have 1 of 2 problems. 1) The disk has gotten corrupted. 2) The disk has gotten scratched. If you Check the disk literally, and it has scratches that is why. If it just keeps freezing or won't startup, then it has gotten corrupted. Try to Return/Delete the Rental game for another copy and you will be all set.

Please give me a FixYa if this helped. - Evolution

I Knocked Over My Xbox 360 Recently And I Was Playing A Game ,And The Disc Was Unread So I Took It Out And It Was Filled With Circular Scratches .. Can I Make It Work, And What Has Happened To It?

if it is the disc you are referring to ..find someone who has a disc polisher...video rental stores are you best bet..they need them to polish marks out of disc when they rent them ..provided the marks are not to bad ,this should fix it .. your console may have moved the laser .use an old disc first to see .you dont want to scratch disc again after it has been polished.

Plastation 2 format disc

If this is a rental copy the most likely answer is simply that the disk is scratched or damaged to the point that your PS2 can't read it. With rental games you also need to double check that store staff placed the correct disk in the box, have a look at the disk an ensure it is not an XBox copy. This message would normally suggest however that the copy you have is not from the same region as you're PS2, if you have a US PS2 it will only play US PS2 games, if you have a UK PS2 it will only play UK PS2 games Etc. you cannot play UK games on a US PS2 and vice versa unless your PS2 is fitted with a 'mod chip' and you will usually require a 'swap disk' as well. **be sure you understand the copyright issues involved if you decide to pursue this** Another possibility is that it is a DVD R, not a legitimate disk, without a 'mod chip' your PS2 will not read games written to DVD R/RW (and doing so is most definitely illegal regardless what those to cheap to pay for there games will tell you about "backups").
