Question about HP Pavilion dv5020us Notebook
I have HP Pavilion notebook. Both USB ports are broke. Short of paying $200 just for parts to get it fixed, is there any other solutions on how to get usable USB ports for this thing. Can't find a PCI express card for USB anywhere (can't use regular PCI card); Can't get expansion port for HP because even though they are the ONLY company and makes them for their products, THEY DON'T HAVE THEM IN STOCK!! On the verge of throwing this thing out the window. Any helpful suggestions
DO THIS ONLY YOU KNOW HOW TO SOLDIER
buy a 4 way usb spliter just around 1-2$
open your USB splitter de solder usb ports using a de soldering gun
now open your laptop and de solder usb ports that broke now solder new ports carefully
hope this will solve
