will not change channels or vol, after TV gets hot. have to power down and let cool down, then power up and it will work.

I also bought the ILo brand 32HD television, had it about a year before it went out. All I can do is turn it on and off, it is stuck on one channel. I wish now I would have done my homework. The ILo support people at 18002165156 are no help at all. If your reading this and thinking about buying one...don't do it. Bridgette

The volume on the remote is not working & when we go to turn it off it takes about 3 times to shut the power off. I have new batteries in,but that didn't do anything also, unplugged it for a few minutes, still same problem. This TV has to work threw a VCR.

My ilo 32 inch flat only displays a blue screen. It does not identify what setting it is on nor channel or volume level. Just a blue screen! My solution for this issue is rediculous. I leave the tv on for about 15-20 minutes, shut it down then turn it back on. After that the tv works perfectly fine, nevertheless this is a inadequate solution.

You have to send it in for repair. Your main board is fried and they will upgrade your board. This has been going since walmart first sold this brand.

Does anyone know who the manufacturer is or who "owns" ILO?

Service menu codes panasonic

I provide this information for those that are qualified and trained to do TV repair work. Entering or making changes in service mode by untrained persons can cause significant and permanent damage to your television. If you are not qualified to service your television, please DO NOT ENTER these service menu codes.

Panasonic TV's after 1996 can be set to "Serviceman Mode" with the
following remote control sequence:

-select the SET-UP icon and select CABLE mode.
-select the TIMER icon and set the SLEEP timer for 30 minutes.
-press the ACTION button twice to get out of the menus.
-change to channel 124.
-adjust the volume to minimum (0).
-Hit the VOL down button on the TV itself (not on
the remote) and a red "CHK" should appear in the upper corner.
-press the ACTION and VOLUME DOWN buttons (again, on the
TV, not the remote) you will toggle between AGING and SERVICEMAN modes.

Select Serviceman mode. The POWER button on the remote control will
select one of the five Serviceman Adjustment modes.

The modes are:

B - Serviceman VCJ SUB Adjustments. These include sub-tint,
sub-color, sub-brightness, sub-contrast, colorkiller/ABL/gamma,
audio and video adjustment, and vertical size.

C - Serviceman VCJ Cut-off adjustments. These include Red, Green
and Blue cut-off, red and blue drive, automatic fine tuning
(AFT), RF AGC (RF gain control), horizontal center, beam limit,
etc.

S - Serviceman Options Adjustments. These involce the PIP and
clock.

M - Serviceman MTS (Stereo/SAP) adjustments.

CHK - the mode you first entered. Normal picture and sound, lets
you check things over and still have a hotkey into the
service menu.

There is one more adjustment that isn't in the five modes, it's
global. When in either the yellow or red CHK mode, you can press
RECALL on the remote control to enter the purity field check mode.
This lets you select a pure white, red, green, or blue screen. A
good thing to walk away from if you just want to temporarily freak
out the floor manager, but it will be fixed as soon as the TV is
turned off. Oh well.

To get out of Serviceman mode, press ACTION and POWER on the
receiver simultaneously for at least 2 seconds. The TV will momentarily
shut off and then comes back on.

My VIZIO vx32L/hdtv10a remote only lets me change channels. No volume up/down or power on/off function either

If your audio is being routed through a home theater system then you will not get vol control through the remote for the TV. You will have to use the home theater remote.

Everytime I change a channel on my LCD Tv Hi Sense 32

If your using front button to change channel then try to use remote..

If on the remote is fine then the button board of your TV got faulty usually it cause bad contacts of button (vol+,vol-) so that if you press any button the volume button activated due to auto contact..

You can replace the button or replace new button board assembly..

My remote control for my polaroid tv wont change channels up and down.the channel button isnt working for the tv.everything else is working.

You may be able to program your cable box remote to control your TV in addition to your cable box. When they initially set up your cable box they probably left a pamphlet giving you instructions on how to program your remote. I'm not sure why you can't change the TV channels manually but this may give you a work-around.

Remote

Are the lights on the remote control or on the face of the TV itself? I would suspect the remote control first. Bring the remote with you to WalMart or where ever you purchased the TV and try it on another ILO brand. If noe results then you know the remote is bad.
