1. Press ok/menu once
2. go to Tools and press ok
3. scroll all the way down to Update Phone, press ok
4. choose Update Firmware, press ok.

The phone should update to software version 14 which came out in may to fix this and a few other problems. If you already have ver. 14 and still have the problem, take the phone in to a service center.

Also, you can follow this same process up to step 4 but choose Update PRL instead and the phone will download an updated list of cell towers and usually gets better service afterwards.

First check the battery, This BL-4CT frequently open it's connector ,so try to check it out.Or sometimes the battery might fully discharge so try to put a back-up from mobile repairing shop.If the problem still persist please leave a testimonial or comment.Good luck

IPhone 3G shuts off by itself

Try replacing the battery. Also check to make sure that the battery itself is secure and can't move within the phone casing.

Sony ericsson w760i resets itself

There are multiple reasons why you cannot update the phone. Are you on original software or did you debrand it? Either way, the phone does reset itself sometimes, it's a common problem that SE still has to fix unfortunately. It happens more often if you multi-task on the phone, e.g. listening music and running GPS or browse the web at the same time.

Turns itself on and off

Hi. when a Mobile phone continues to power up and immediately powers down, this will most likely confirm a internal programming fault within the micro board. this is not common but, it is known. the internal micro board, once unstable, will try to reconfigure itself by restarting over and over until it can load in the correct manner. If its unsuccessful in this attempt, it will continue to restart over and over. The best solution here is to send this unit back to the provider or send it to Samsung for reprogramming. Im sure the circuit board is fine but, the software has become corrupt for some reason and , this is the reason for the erratic shutdowns.

Please rate and god bless:)

My cellphone keeps turning itself off and then back on again when i try to connect to the internet

THis is all I have found so far... bear in mind that the phone will probably use more power when on the intenet

The battery doesn’t charge properly or the
phone sometimes turns itself off
• Wipe the charging contacts both on the phone
and on the battery with a clean soft cloth.

I suggest you try a WHITE pencil eraser to clean battery contacts and then clean again with alcohol, ethanol, methylated spirit etc then air dry before turning off

Cuts off during call

Alot of times this is when the battery or SIM card for whatever reason gets loose inside and for a second or two loses contact. Believe me, I see it everyday. What happens is sometimes when the factory sends the battery new with phone in the box, it is a bit to small. The door or sleeve that holds the SIM card in (for phones that take the sim cards)do not actually hold the SIM card in-they only hold it partially in-the battery does the rest. So if the battery comes loose, alot of times so does the SIM card. Try this, take your SIM card out, along with the battery, look for anything that might be loose. Then put the SIM card in, then take a piece of paper underneath the battery. This will help the battery keep contact, and is just a test to see if this solves your problem.

Turns off all by itself

Sounds like you have a bad connection to your battery. Check the battery or the connections for debris or corrosion. Clean it if there is. If they are clear it could be the connection inside the phone on the circuit board or a short.
