1. Press ok/menu once
2. go to Tools and press ok
3. scroll all the way down to Update Phone, press ok
4. choose Update Firmware, press ok.

The phone should update to software version 14 which came out in may to fix this and a few other problems. If you already have ver. 14 and still have the problem, take the phone in to a service center.

Also, you can follow this same process up to step 4 but choose Update PRL instead and the phone will download an updated list of cell towers and usually gets better service afterwards.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why does the battery wear down so fast?

Two possible reasons..

Most probable reason is that the battery has worn out..
many possible reasons for the battery being worn out.. one of them is that you might be charging it for extend periods of time everyday...

Also it is possible that your phone itself is somehow damaged..

But once again it is most likely your battery that requires to be changed..

UNIT WILL SHUT ITSELF OFF WHEN IN USE SOMETIMES AFTER 10 MINS SOMETIMES TURN BACK ON AND IT WORKS AGAIN SOMETIMES WON'T COME BACK UP FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS

I suspect that the power supply is not making a proper connection and comes loose in the socket, the gps unit then is forced to use battery power but since the battery is not fully charged yet when the battery power is to low the unit shuts down and will stay down till enough of a charge or the power supply gets bumped and makes a solid connection again.

First: alarm went off on its own.(mazda 6 2003). Now when locking and unlocking car sometimes indicators flash and sometimes not. Now red immobaliser light is flashing on dash when driving, then stops...

there is often a small back up battery in the immobiliser unit itself, if you can locate this unit and replace the battery with the ignition on / engine running, then it should not need recoding and work fine after that. The other thing that could be wrong is the key battery (if the fob has one) or the transponder chip in the key head. If the key signal is low the immobiliser lamp will light during driving, but this does not explain the alarm going off. That is more likely either a poor vehicle battery, alarm / immobiliser back up battery, or another electrical fault such as water leakage into a tail-light or even the alarm unit itself when it rains. A lot of alarms are voltage sensing and when the vehicle is parked they will alarm if the battery voltage changes for any reason, though not during driving so the battery in the immob is my first choice to look at.

Mine just started this recently.

Sounds like the battery is not charging. My solution was to use a small screwdriver to move the charger pin in the power adapter hole in the under off center. That gave it better contact, it began to charge properly and fixed my issue.

Turns itself on and off

Hi. when a Mobile phone continues to power up and immediately powers down, this will most likely confirm a internal programming fault within the micro board. this is not common but, it is known. the internal micro board, once unstable, will try to reconfigure itself by restarting over and over until it can load in the correct manner. If its unsuccessful in this attempt, it will continue to restart over and over. The best solution here is to send this unit back to the provider or send it to Samsung for reprogramming. Im sure the circuit board is fine but, the software has become corrupt for some reason and , this is the reason for the erratic shutdowns.

Please rate and god bless:)

First thing to try would be to remove the battery and unplug from the mains, then hold down the power button to discharge all electricity from device, You will need to hold down power button for 1-1.5 minutes.

Once this is done put the battery back in and try again. Let me know how you go.

P850 shuts itself off for no reason

Try using a liquid contact cleaner. I read about this fix on another site, worked great for me.
A product called DeoxIT in the U.S. is what was suggested, I am in Canada and can't get that here so I picked up a product from a company called NexxTech. Just a liquid contact cleaner.
Take out the battery of the camera. Put a few small drops of the contact cleaner on the power button and let it drip down into the switch. Rotate the on/off switch back and forth 5-10 times, put the battery back in and Voila! Fixed!
No more random on/off irritations, camera works just like it did before the problem arose a few weeks ago.
It worked great for me.
Good Luck!

E-125 Turns off and won't turn on

This is what I suggest: Get yourself a new backup battery. First backup your Casio. Then install the main battery. Plug the Casio in and recharge overnight. Once recharged, install the new backup battery. Make sure you do not touch the battery with your hands. Use a tissue. This should solve your problem if the Casio is not physically damaged.
