by the way the disc you dont have was only contained with driver like the one that ive telling you to download to and the software. you can use any softwares like ulead movie maker, nero movie maker, windows movie maker, etc.. so that you can transfer your video clips from your camcorder to the computer in whole video. save it with any various types of video like avi, divx, dvd, vcd, etc.. burn it with nero. hope that helps!

How do I copy the mini disc onto a dvd disc, is there a converter program I need to download so that I can then burn several mini discs onto a 2 hour dvd?

Hi, You can convert mini disc ( 8 cm diameter ) to a standard DVD disc via your PC. Please follow this steps : 1. Install your canon software/driver in PC 2. Install DVD creator in PC ( common software is use Nero scout) 3. Download your mini disc data to PC 4. Enhanced your data with Nero 5. Burn your data to standard DVD
Make sure you have DVD RW hardware in your PC.

I have a Hitachi mega pixel dz-mv780e dvd cam and when i put a completed disc into my laptop it wont play, can you please advise what i need to do peterwilson05@gmail.com Thank you

If the camcorder does finalize the disc? What type of disc is it? Some of the disc that work in that camcorder like a ram disc will not work in a regualr dvd player, only use -r disc's if you want to make a disc to use elsewhere. The other option is that the dvd camcorder needs the dvd drive replaced if it is still available. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. There is also a firmware update available for that camcorder.

You need to finalize the disc before trying to play it in any other DVD Component.

Please try to copy the videos in the Camcorder to a Computer. Then, burn the videos from the Computer to a DVD disc using any burning software in the Computer. Then, try to play that DVD disc in the DVD Player.

No disc read on dc100

There are only 4 possible solutions,

1. Dirty or faulty discs, but as you've tried different discs this doesn't seem likely.

2. Condensation has developed in the camcorder, leave it in a dry indoor temperatured place for a couple of hours and try again.

3. Dirty lens won't let the laser read the disc. Look for lens cleaning camcorderkit in a store.

4. Manufacturing error

Hope this will help you.

Here is the link to the user manual for your camcorder; http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DCRDVD92®ion_id=1 page 72 should tell you what you need to know. Please note that you have to use a DVD-RW in order to be able to delete items; a DVD-R will not allow this. Hope this helps - please ask again if you still have trouble :)
