If you go into BIOS and see if it is showing the hard drive in there. If its not showing it then probably you got a faulty one and should contact fujitsu about the warranty. Good luck.

Can you go into bios setup? If you have Backup CD's try factory reset. there is a chance you loose your files. there is some software to retrive them but it will cost you.

I'm using Fujitsu Siemens Amilio PI 2550 . I forgot my BIOS Password. How can I reset it ?

Generally BIOS passwords can only be reset by sending the computer back to the factory. Talk to whatever store you got it from about how to send your computer in to have it reset.

Hi. where can i get a bios update for fujitzu amilio 1818? thnk u

Go to Fujitsu's website at
http://www.fmworld.net/globalpc/download/index.html
select world region under Drivers/BIOS, then enter details of your model to get to the downloads.

Be careful when flashing a BIOS, if it goes wrong the computer will do nothing anymore.

First update the drivers, you can do this under device manager under contorl panel and maintenance & performance. You can also make sure the usb device is enabled and read properly. You can also download sotware lastly if needed.

Blank screen blinking curser at top left

i would have it serviced. the biggest problem people face is waiting to fix something and the warranty is out. i would keep testing to see if it does it again. when it does, send it in and get whatever is causing it fixed. or just work your heart away and risk it crashing when you least expect it. better to be safe then sorry, the error you are telling me about seems like a motherboard or hard drive related issue

Good Luck!

Toshiba EA60 laptop wont go in boot sequance, its stop after toshiba logo and gives a black screen with blinking curser in top lef corner

Its probably not the BIOS but the board warping beneath the CPU Socket or similar.. Dont flash it (BIOS) or it will probably kill the chip. Let me look up the model number...

Starts to the Fujitsu Screen then nothing

No Actually its fixable

There are a number of issues that can cause this but all of them are hardware related.. Mostly its eighter the hard drive or them main board (bios)

1.) Open up the laptop
You do this by removing the hinge covers, then removing the
face panel(part with the power button)
remove the kwyboard and you wiull have axcess to it..
2.) there is a battery on the main board, simply disconnect it, then remove your laptop battery and hit the power button(switch now) seven times.. Hopefully this will discharge any remaing power and reset your bios..

now try booting, if that works, simply enter your bios(setup) and load the optamised defaults then save and exit..

If that fails, Open back up the laptop again and try disconnecting the hard drive.. If it boots and says no boot disc, then your hard drive is defective and needs to be replaced..

If all that fails you will need to replace your mainboard.. if you are not qualified enough to do this i suggest you take it to a technician,,, Let me know what happens and if you need additional information, just post your question here and i shall reply asap
