Have DMP-BD35 and getting U73 error code( HDMI cable problem...)\r\nUsed different cable got same problem.... What next????

Check both for Optical

1) Check your DVD player make sure it is set to Dolby Digital or Optical Out or even AUTO (if applicable)
2) Check the Input source to the receiver say if you are using DVD on the receiver make sure the digital setting is set to either Optical or Auto

SOURCE: Panasonic DMP BD35 player and it will not play Blu Ray discs

Have you put in the correct region Blu Ray disc ?
Is it all disks not playing ?
Try cleaning the laser head with a cleaning disk.
