I have a EZ vinyl audio converter and after recording songs I can find them in itunes, but when I play those songs, or any of my songs, they have no audio even though it shows they're playing. I changed audio output on my pc back to the option that isn't audio codec and nothing changed. I also tried on my mac and that was even worse. Do I have a defective device, or is there something I can do.

Hello, Since downloading iTunes version 11.05,

You might need to either reinstall the EZ or see if there is an update.

The software is not 'seeing' the gap between the tracks, so it does not know the song has ended. Untick 'split recording into tracks' box, then sit with it as it records and click on new track every time a song ends. Tedious, but it works.

EZ Audio Converter does not export files to iTunes

I've had exactly the same problem, and so far no resolution from Ion. A small bit of good news: the .wav files are on the hard drive, although without any track info. At least on Vista, they are in username/AppData/Local/Temp. The files are name Temp0, Temp1, Temp 2, ...

You can use iTunes to add these files (File/add file) and then convert them to .mp3s, or whatever format you prefer. Or you could convert them first using the tool of your choice, such as Audiograbber.

This is inconvenient, but a lot better than re-ripping the vinyl after EZVinyl hangs.

No sound from iTunes audio files

it sounds like EZ A C did not get the audio or EZ put it in a format tha Itunes Cant play. download VLC media player and install it. open the file with VLC and se if it will play it. It will play just about anything it has most of the codex's need to play anything too. if it doesent play it then something is wrong with the input to EZ A C you might have the input muted.

Downloaded songs appear in iTunes library but won't play on comp

I had exactly the same problem and followed the OP's solution, which worked, but I couldn't hear the track as it was being recorded.  So I tweaked the solution.  If you do the following, you don't have to keep changing System Preferences as you switch from record to listening:
Go to System Preferences, press the Sound icon, and click on "Sound Effects."  Then select the drop down menu and select "Play alerts and sound effects through selected sound output device" rather than the USB choice.  Then click on "Output" and select how you want to listen; I used speakers so I selected "Headphones" where the port is "Built-in audio."  Then click on "Input" and select the USB choice.  Now record a track and you can hear it being recorded through your speakers (or headphones).  When it's done recording and after the software transfers it to iTunes, you can play it again through your speakers without going to the preferences panel.
