How to solve the mysql error 2003 Can't Connect to mysql server on 'localhost' (10061)

Your client software attempts to connect to a MySQL database instance on your local computer. There is no DB server running locally, hence the error.

Before reinstalling Windows, did you connect to a remote DB server or did you use a local instance?
In former case, you need to configure the DB connection to point to the remote serve. In the latter case, on top of Windows you also need to reinstall the MySQL DB server software locally, and it needs to be started.

Try to remove or rename your existing connection file, QB creates a new one if it does not find any existing, allowing so to recover from broken files.

How many clients can connect using SQL server 2008 enterprise edition with VB 6.0

It would depend on your license for SQL Server... Then it would also depend on what your options are set to. You should have no problem easily allowing over 100, assuming connections are opened and closed properly and so on.

Orcale problem ?

This is an Error generated by the Oracle Client when the Oracle Server can not be reached.

This error can be caused by several items:

The Listener on the Oracle Server is not running. Check with an Oracle Administrator
The Oracle Server is off line. Check with an Oracle Administrator
The network connection to the Oracle server is not fully up and running. Check all connection points between the Notes server and the Oracle Server
A firewall exists between the Notes Server and the Oracle Server, and is not configured to allow access to both the Oracle Server's IP address and Port
The ADDRESS Parameter in the TNSNAMES.ORA file is incorrect. Use TNSPING (or TNSPING80 on Oracle 8.0.x) to check the connection to the Oracle Server. Example of a successful connection:

D:\ORANT\BIN>tnsping80 oracle

TNS Ping Utility for 32-bit Windows: Version 8.0.5.0.0 - Production on 23-APR-99
10:24:39

Attempting to contact (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=DBSERVER)(PORT=1521))
OK (50 msec)

If this is Not successful, check your Oracle Network Products Messages Manual to resolve the errors that TNSPING points out.

well i found this from one site .... hope u can read it and can solve your problem

MySQL can't connect Error

Guess you are referring to this error message -

cdfc6ee.jpg

Check your username & password, and make sure that you are authorized to access the server.

If your password & username are correct, there might be a network problem that prevents you from connecting to the machine where the MySQL server is running. To make sure that they are no network failures, click on the "ping" button.

This will "Ping" the MySQL server host. If the host is available (no network failure), you will

receive a message similar to this -

Reply from 127.0.0.1: Time=0ms TTL=128
Reply from 127.0.0.1: Time=1ms TTL=128

If you don't it means there's a problem with the network.

PHP Error

This error means that the program doesn't understand the code you wrote.

If you are lucky the error points to the file and the line number where PHP got confused. Sometimes PHP points directly at the error, but other times PHP is confused as a result of an earlier error in the script.

Welcome to the great world of PHP.
