Your Palm device can accept vCard items from a Bluetooth enabled PC. First, you'll need to save the item on your PC as a vCard file, then use Bluetooth technology to send it to your handheld. Here's how:
- On your PC, launch the PIM application that contains the Contact you want to send.
- Navigate to the individual Contact, and save it as a vCard file. Depending on your PIM, there are different ways to do this:
- Palm Desktop: After highlighting the Contact you want to send, go to the File menu and select Export as vCard. Select a file location and file name, and click OK.
- Outlook: After opening the Contact you want to send, go to the File menu and select "Export to a vCard file." Select a file location and file name, and click OK.
- On your PC, navigate to the vCard file you just created. Right-click the file. Select Send To, then select the Bluetooth option. Your Bluetooth options at this point will vary according to your Bluetooth Configuration software. Eventually, you should reach a list of Bluetooth devices. Select your Palm device from this list and send.
Hope this helps
