Question about Frigidaire FTF530FS Front Load Washer
I bought the Frigidaire LTF530FS model in May of '07. The exact same problem would occur where the timer would stop and not finish the cycle. I had the Timer replaced in August of '07 under warranty, but the same problem has started again and of course it's no longer under warranty. If I stand there and turn the Timer through the cycle, the washer still functions. I noticed that a pump problem was mentioned. My drain pipe is almost near the basement ceiling so it's pretty high. If I raised the machine could this solve my problem?
That depends. Is the machine only stopping during the spin cycle? If it has a water pressure backwash censor then you might need to take a look at the plumbing for water leaving the machine. If it does not have this problem, I recommend replacing the timer assembly again.
