I have a list of emails that are on a distribution list. When sending the email, the message of unexpected error from Microsoft Outlook Office comes on the screen. The message is not sent.
Are you on a corporate domain or using a computer at home?
How many people are in the distribution list?
Does your email provide have limitations on the # of recipients?
Have you recently installed or uninstalled Norton or McAfee antivirus?
Two things you can try:
Attempt a repair by opening Outlook -> Help -> Detect & Repair.
Reduce the Distribution list by half creating two separate lists that are an equal split of the original.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Others -> Advanced Options -> Manage Add-ins, then disable all by unchecking the boxes. Try sending the message to the group. if this works then one of the COM add-ins installed is the problem. (Such as Symantec/Norton)
