PSB Subsonic 5i Keeps Blowing Fuse

Hi... my PSB Subsonic 5i keeps blowing its fuse as soon as I turn it on. Any ideas on what might be wrong and how I might fix it?

    I just unplugged the cable to my psb subwoofer and blew the fuse. Can you replace them or should I bring to the shop?

    Similar prob, but i just want to change the fuse, it blow off during a voltage change :(
    does anybody know how or just what are the fuse, i dont recognise it

E315 cerwin vegas speakers and one keeps blowing a fuse when I turn it up to the normal volume I play them.Can I use a bigger fuse or is it the speaker?About a yr old rarely used until the last few mo


Try playing the speakers at a friends house or something to see if you blow their fuse. If you don't then you know for sure that you need a bigger fuse, but if you do then it's the speaker.

Greg, If the fuse keeps on blowing there is a problem with the internal amp. It was probaly caused buy a electrical power surge, Or a (********) up Sub patch cord,

I have no green power light on my subsonic 5i which screws do i remove to replace a fuse inside


Make sure you the plug eorks before you do anything. Plug in a lamp or something. The fuse is inside where you plug the input.

The amp is blown. You need to get it in for service. No telling exactlly what is wrong untill it is opened. 215-736-8055

then the circuits took a hit and the fuse didn't do it's job in the 1st place. best is too get new circuit thats inside the sub woofer.

If your fuse keeps on blowing after you cg=hanging,that meens that there is a shortage.check it first using the multimeter.good luck.

No LED light on PSB Alpha Subzero-i and keeps blowing fuses.


Others have had similar problems with the amp on this model. There is probably a circuit design error which causes some components to blow and as far as I've read, fixing it (or replacing the fuse) won't make the problem go away for long. Try contacting PSB or the retailer.
