Question about Glyph Hard Drives
Hey guys, I am working with a glyph drive that has decided not to mount anymore on the desktop. How should I fix it?
I had not created even a primary partition for my Glyph drive which I needed to do. So I created a new partition and seleected the maximum size for it which was all 500GB of the drive, since I dont want any real divisions of the drive; then I selected quick format. This is actually on the Glyphtech.com questions on how to format the drive, it will telll you about this step of creating a primary partition (or even more partitions if you want them).

1394 is fire-wire. Some cheaper fire-wire chip-set cards can have minor issues.
Usually they are sorted by removing it and placing it in another slot on the motherboard. If it continues to cause issues then consider a better card..
One of my servers had this issue until i changed to a better card.
If you are using BLUE-TOOTH then watch how far away from the source you are as blue-tooth only has a very limited transmission range and is susceptible to cell phones, wireless phones, baby alarms, and other radio interference.
