Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
I am having problems with the audio on my laptop (Dell E1505). If I plug in external speakers the audio works, but when I unplug them there is no audio. I have already tried updating my driver and downloading new drivers from the Dell site and the audio is still not working.
You have verified that the sound card and drivers are working, by plugging in externals. This leaves only the speakers. Check and clean the speaker connections, they will sometimes work loose or get a little dirt/corossion build up. If the connections are good, then you will need to replace the speakers.
