When I click on print I get "an error occured while loading your pictures. Error code 1-2067." And I can't go any further.

I also have the Kodak Easy Share software, but I can't make it look in my desktop pictures file.

kodak easyshare 5300 keeps giving me an error code of 1-2067 every time i try to click "print pictures" from within the home center and then refuses to let me go any further. this printer is currently connected to an XP machine, but also has no drivers for Ubuntu. contacted kodak several times and was told they would provide drivers for Ubuntu, but to date they have failed to come through on their promise. printer does have drivers for all versions of Windows, Mac and UNIX, but no drivers for Linux. Got tired of waiting over two years for the drivers and was forced to have to use it on an XP machine rather than throwing it into the trash, but now it won't let me print pictures.

Just installed this software. It works fine for 3 users on same PC. Think it may be due to file path to My Pictures. Still working on it.

Kodak EasyShare 5300- Won't print

I fumbled around a similar problem today. After printing photos you have to convert the printer to print to paper. If there is a green LED on the printer your are in PHOTO mode. Reach into the 4x6 printer and pull back the slide and the LED will go out. Now you can print on paper.

5300 won't load 8 1/2x 11 photo-weight paper.

''grabber'' roller out of work sometimes, you may try
1) there is a input paper sensor around roller, the roller out of runing if the sensor is not senitive enough or sensor switch dirty,
clean the sensor as you can find it,
2) Lighter-weight paper feeds and prints fine, which means this paper input sensor works ok, but you need to make sure they are same paper input sensor,.
3) the paper surface bright and the roller worn could be cause paper feed fail, you need clean the roller anyway. still not fixed, you need to adjust the roller pressure by increase the spring force.`

Kodak 5300 printer problem

I would suggest the following :

1) Remove the Kodak printer and all its software.
2) Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
3) Reinstall the entire software applications for the printer just as if you were installing it for the first time.
4) When asked to connect the printer .. Use a different USB port .. even if you have to switch something out .. but do this step irregardless.

Now what I want to know is ..
1) Can you print from the computer?
2) Black still "gone" ?

Let me know

Very light printing

Call Kodak and tell them you're problems. I was in same boat with new cartridges and still problems. My printer was only 9 month old and printed over 600 pages. I received my new printhead along with brand new cartridges and sample of 4x6 photo paper. However, having problems removing the printhead. New printhead came within 1 business day of calling Kodak!

5300 kodak printer

My solution was to dump the Kodak printer, and reinstall a 4 year old HP printer collecting desk in my house. WORKS GREAT! I fiddled around with the Kodak printer head and wiped/cleaned the insides, and it worked for a couple days. Then it started having the same problems again (see above.)

Photo paper

1. Never put XtraLife paper from a printer dock in any inkjet printer. This paper is not made for inkjets. The ink will simply spill all over the place.
2. You can use any paper you wish that is inkjet paper but you must set the appropriate settings through the print manager if the paper is anything but Kodak inkjet photo paper. The 5100, 5300, and 5500 all recognize the backprint on the Kodak paper and automatically optimize the settings. Other brands of paper are not optimized in this fashion and therefore must be done manually through the print manager or software.

Kodak 5300 aio printer won't print black

It is the print head. Cleaning the heads does not do any good, either does replacing the ink. What you'll need to do is contact Kodak's customer service line and they can replace it for you free of charge. On this site everyone seems to be saying it is consistently the black that stops, however, based on what Kodak said it is possible that either the black or the color can have this same issue.

When you call in they will ask you for your service number, which is located on the bottom left corner of the machine, when you lift the lid (as if you were going to replace the ink). They didn't ask me when I bought it, how much I used it, etc.

They will set up a case for you - it takes 2-3 business days for the print head to arrive. They will provide you with an invoice number as well. Be sure to document it all just incase the head never comes, or if there are additional issues after you receive it (and/or if it doesn't solve the problem)

Massage unsupport ink on lexmark X4270

Sadly, not all inks are created equal, and even inks that are claimed "compatable" are not allways safe. My HP photo printer worked great for 2 years, then I put in a "will fit" from a name brand office supply store, the printer nozzles plugged on the second print, never to print correctly again. My replacement printer is a Kodak 5300 all in one, chosen for low ink costs/ hi-output, and I get photo-lab quality, borderless prints day after day. (I'm a photographer/artist) I have run 6 color and 5 blacks for thousands of graphics, in a period of 2 months getting ready for a showing, with maybe 1 or 2 misprints.
