Help!!CVA-1005 Alpine I got this unit and I need to know how to install it

I got this unit I know it's Old but I'm trying to install it on my work truck, I just connected the brain's, the screen and GPS yellow and red to positive to the batt and the blacks to neg, I'm trying to check if it works but the display won't come out, I tried to get it out and I did but when I connected it to the batt the screen went in NO problem I press the open/close button but it makes a noise like trying to push out but it doesn't, I wonder if I need to connect the whole thing to see if it works properly, or I just have a bad screen mechanism..
