We have a Zebra S600 label printer that when it starts to print labels, the labels will get wrapped around the ribbon and jam it. It doesn't happen all the time. When a batch of labels has been printed and the last one is torn off, the next time a new batch of labels gets printed it retracts the label a little bit and then peels the label and wraps around the ribbon. I have tried to manually move the position of the labels forward on the feed button. If I go to far it won't print on the label correctly. Can anyone help?
When printing a label on a z6m the label is pulled into the printer too far and doesn't get pushed back out to be printed on. Is there an adjustment that I can change for the back feed? When printing a label on a z6m the label is pulled into the printer too far and doesn't get pushed back out to be printed on. Try just storing your labels in a cool dry place before using them. Peeling labels are usually a sign the glue is poor or weak.
When tearing you labels off, feed them out before tearing them off, then hit the auto-align. See if that helps it.
Try pushing a normal playing card under the metal cutter that tears the labels and pull it up and through the front to bend the blade slightly outward. This will hopefully allow the labels to pass underneath.

You have the heat setting in the driver set too high.
Lower the heat setting to the lowest possible setting, the print quality will probably be poor then gradually increase it by 1 until print quality is good.
Just a thought, Zebra Ribbons are Coated Side Out. Take a piece of tape and press it against the ribbon, ink should come off on the tape.
If not then make sure the ribbon is the correct type and that you have it loaded properly. Also, if you use multiple ribbons i.e. wax, wax resin or resin make sure that you have the correct ribbon for the media installed.
You must callibrate you media first.
The size of these labels are different frrom those that work correctly.
See in your manual how to callibrate media.
Yes it can but you have to use DIRECT THERMAL MATERIAL. That eliminates the need for a ribbon but what most people don't realize is that a ribbon is almost like "Oil" in your car. Direct Thermal material is more abrasive and will wear out your printhead much faster. Now if you don't print lots of labels that may not be a big deal but if you print 500+ labels a day then thermal transfer may be a better choice in the long run. Printheads are one of the most expensive components of these printers.
this problem will address on label and ribbon issue. you must establish your printer set-up first, meaning see to it that the label and ribbon was correctly loaded, if still problem occur try using manual calibration you can see how to do at the manuals you have..
Try cleaning the media and ribbon sensor you can open it and try clean it, it possible that there's a lot of dust or even small particles at the sensor path..
