According to the manual, the Menu button is on the rear of the camcorder, just below the battery. Pressing this button activates the menu, and using the dial on the lower left side of the camcorder allows scrolling and selection (press the dial in) of menu items.

first you have to finalize it. to do this you have to plug
the battery charger cable into the camcorder. turn the camcorder on
and pull the switch so that you are in the mode where you can
watch your videos. THEN press the menu button and
you should see a finalize option under disk info.

dont finalize your disc until it is full or you cant record new things on it

Want to view my canon mvx330i camcorder through my tv

Open the front plastic cover to the right of the lens and expose the ports. The yellow one is the AV port. Press the MENU button on the left side and use the rocker switch above to display AV-PHONES, select AV, and press the MENU button to set it and close the menu. Turn both  the camcorder and TV OFF.
Connect the camcorder AV port to the TV RGB inputs (VIDEO + AUDIO L + AUDIO R) with the cable that came with the camcorder. It has a mini stereo plug at one end and three RCA plugs at the other.
Switch everything on, press PLAY on the camcorder (don't forget to make sure the cassette is wound back to the start). sit back and enjoy.
