Question about Electrolux Dishwashers

Open Question

Electrolux built in ESL4115 Dishwaser:- Starts the programe briefly but stops with two intermittent audible signals when you open the door the cycle has not really started and there is water at the bottom of the dishwasher(when u refer to manual says the sink spigot is blocked or water drain hose has not been correctly laid or is bent). I have had this for just over 1 year working ok up to this point, tried to see if there is a blockage, taken pipes out doesn't appear to be any blockage also the pipe is not bent and it is all connected to the sink pipe and that is not blocked. any ideas? could it be a circuit board problem?

SOURCE: have a trouble: dish-washer will not drain.

bear in mind first program action is drain but at this point there should be only a small amount of liquid in machine.check spigot is free by pouring a little water down it. blow thro drain hose to check free as well - you can get a fat blockage in drain hose. if both are free you may have a blockage in exit to pump.the only other maintenaince is to use a dishwasher 2-3 times a year

SOURCE: have a trouble: dish-washer will not drain.

I just moved into a new house and builder had provided a dish washer drain just below my kitchen drain line.

DIsh washer install was done by me, every thing worked out OK except dish washer would not drain after a wash cycle.

Cause: drain provided by builder was blocked and needed a circular small cut before mounting drain hose over it.

SOURCE: when starting wash cycle the dishwasher cda cw447

Try removing the inlet pipe, and refitting, might fix it, else likely that the
Inlet water soleniod failing/failed or tiny mesh filter (it does come out for cleaning) behind the inlet hose clogged. Temporaily bypass the aquastop water stop unit; it might be the culprit!

A replacement solenoid is usually only about £10 from, or ebay sellers (no connection with these but they are very good), fits in minutes (2 or 3 electrical spades ,and a posidrive or two) and usually fixes all water related problems. the noise you can hear is probably the solenoid trying to actuate, will be droning/buzzing sound.
could simply be stuck with some foreign matter in there that's got through the mesh filter but unlikely. they normally fail and sound terrible.

Don't throw your dishwasher away for the sake of a £10 part.
Good luck

Electrolux EIFLSI5IIW1 stops at 1 min left in cycle

I have solved same problem with washer Electrolux EWS1066. All cycles stops after starts with 1 min left on display and open inlet water valve. I think that was bad door interlock but it was a defective main controller. No damage visible on board than I heated PCD with heater gun mainly pointed to SMD parts. Now washing machine work good.

I dont have a stop buttom

You're start/pause button should pause the cycle, cancell should completely cancell. After pressing the Start/Pause within a cycle, the door lock may require time to unlock as indicated by the lock light on the panel.

Hoover nextra washing machine door wont lock / cycle start

sounds like the door lock mechanism. if this cannot signal it has engaged, to the board, no other function will work (you don't want the washer going with the door open, trust me :) )

It starts cycle and stops after a few questions but when i open and close door it starts again and stops...

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

The problem appears to be with the door switch as initially it starts cycle and then the control senses open door so stops the unit completely. Take a hair dryer and blow some air on the door lock/switch assembly, if this won't help then replacing the door switch/lock assembly is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Grit on dishes

Remove the top rotor and start a wash . when running, briefly open door and see if water is pumping out of hole where rotor was connected. If it is, your rotor is badly blocked.(clean properly) If not,a valve that should be opened is not. From there you will need professional attention.
