The encryption key it is probably asking for is the key to the wireless signal you are trying to connect to. This key should have been given to you when the wireless signal was set up, if the wireless signal is yours. If not it is your neighbors signal in which you would have to kindly ask them if you can use it as well.

Iam having trouble with my DY-WL10 connecting with my panasonic blu-ray player.

What is the problem?
Are you having problem finding the router you are trying to connect to?
Are you having problem connecting the player to a router in your flat?
you need to find the routers name SSID when you scan for the right signal.
Most of the time the SSID (routers name) and the web key (Routers security key) to your router is marked under the router.
you need to make sure that you have chosen the right router when you have scanned the signal to the Panasonic DYWL10 Wireless LAN Adapter. then the rest should be easy.
I hope it helps!!.

Help setting up Panasonic DY-WL10 wireless adapter to 2Wire gateway 2701HG-B?

go to on screen "setup"
select "network"
select "Network easy setting"
Select "wireless"
do the connection check
the 2wire modem should be detected by the DY WL10
Select the 2wire
select "open system"
select WEP encryption
enter the encryption key, or just "key" (it is the number in brackets somewhere on the 2wire). Do not enter the brackets.
follow further prompts. It is easy from here on (famous last words)

System Crash

Hi

Intel 2200BG is known to cause this and similar errors when Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) encryption is used. The problem has been around since 2004 and new OS Drivers should fix this.

I recommend you download and install latest Windows Drivers (appropriate for your Windows Version) for Intel 2200BG Adaptor.

If this cannot be done, then setting your wireless to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encription (though less secure) will minimise these error conditions

NB: Google "w22n51.sys" for more info.

Regards
Mike
