They marine ice makers are fussy. The ice maker needs to be level or water will drip down into the ice bin. The amount of water entering the tray is controlled by time. The other factor is pressure. The marine water system has a relatively low water pressure as compared from marina water feed.

I would confirm the number of cubes produced from the unit when connected directly to the city water pressure. If at the highest pressure it is below expectations I would follow the video. How Do Adjust an Icemaker Home Appliances

There is a screen filter before the solenoid line that can fill with debris. So you may need to check it if you can not make a satisfactory adjustment.
If you are like me and always work form the internal water tank avoiding a burst water line and "sink the ship" then adjust it for the lower pressure.

My NewAir Portable Ice Maker no longer makes ice. It pumps water up into the resvior but the fan motor never turns on and it does not freeze the water. Why is it acting this way?

is the compressor hot? if so, the fan might be dead. the condenser needs air flow to cool down. if the compressor doesn't even turn on, the starter coil (inside the box on the front of the compressor) may be shot.

Our Marvel icemaker was working great then it starting making ice at a much slower pace. It is not make ice no where near as fast as it was. What could be the problem?

Could be a dirty condenser coil, blocked return air, if the ice machine is in a warm environment it takes longer to make ice, water temperature if it is warmer it will take longer to make ice. if water inlet valve is letting water seep buy during freeze cycle it will take longer to freeze.

Our automatic ice maker will not quit dripping in the freezer. It keeps clogging the ice maker with icicles and large blocks of ice. Essentially, it keeps "freezing over." We have defrosted it...

if it keeps filling and overflowing you have a bad water valve on the back of the fridge.the part number is WR57X10027 and the valve is around 75 dollars.first thing lift the arm or shut off the ice maker so it won't leak anymore, you're missing a few letters off of the model number so when you call your parts store give them the full model number, open the fridge door, look up on the right hand side wall up near the ceiling and give them the model number to make sure you get the correct valve, shut off the water supply to the fridge, then have the new valve next to the old valve when you remove a water line from the old valve just connect it to the new valve,do this until everything is changed out and the new valve is in place, turn on the water supply and you can check the ice maker to make sure it doesn't overflow.you can manually start the ice maker by grabbing the plastic arms of the ice maker and pull them forwards slowly until the arms start to advance on their own, you'll hear the water valve fill the ice maker and then you can watch it fill to see if the water is filling it correctly and i'm sure you'll be fine with the new water valve installed

Hi, I Have a whirlpool 1844 for 6 month, recently it started to come some water form top of it's cabinet ( the part fan is located) and water is freezing coming down and is making ice candle on the...

Do you have a different model number other than 1844? What you are describing to me sounds like the valve that turns the water on to fill the ice maker is not shutting off completely once the ice maker fills with water. If this is the case the only way to repair is to replace the water valve. Sea Breeze

I have an old U-line ice maker. I can not find

The mechanical parts of those models is the same as a BI 95 or BI98. If your looking for the faceplate that would be part number 150. This includes the timer motor, gears, water switch, and hold switch. You can order this thru a parts distributor. Appliance Parts Depot or All Brand Parts should be able to help. If you want to replace the complete icemaker assemly that part number is 402

I just installed a new ice maker in my Frigidaire freezer model # FRS23KF7AWO. Is there a trick to getting it started??

As long as you have water turned on and power to the ice maker.. it should go thru its normal cycling process and begin to work overnight.. some take at least 10-12 hours to fill the water lines before that water is presented to the ice maker itself and ice is made.. Hope that helps
