Question about OKI MICROLINE 8810 Matrix Printer
Showing "error 103 power off" Alarm and auto gap lights are flashing. I have tried replacing the sensor assy AG (41592302), then the board MID assy (43508002). Still getting the error.
A blinking alarm usually means an hardware error of some type, such as an obstruction on the printhead, or a bad motor or such.
When you have a blinking alarm light the other lights that are on will give you an error code that will tell you what the alarm means. You will need to look it up at Okidata.

Check the little switch/door on the right hand side of the drums.
This has worked successfully for me.
After replacement of a C3530 Image Drum, the message, "Toner Sensor Error" is displayed.
The plastic shutter in the ID is fully or partially covering the toner sensor window.
Move the cover upward to allow for the sensor to become fully exposed prior to reinstalling the drum.

SOURCE: Problem with OKI ML 395
the lid has 2 small points the holds down 2 censors that indicate when it is off, make sure that there are not broken and that the censors are being engaged.

The printhead has some thermisters in and it is either actually overheating or a faulty thermister thinks it is overheating. Either way, a new printhead is required.
