I had the same problem. What I had to do was to format the sd card. you can go to www.sandisk.com/techsupport for more information. To format you just double click "my computer" on your desktop, then right click on the drive of your sansa player and choose format. Unfortunately that will erase all your songs but if you have them saved then just reinstall them. It worked for me. Good Luck.

Hi again audreytagle. Please take your slip and take your sansa to the place you bought it and show them the problem they will probably give you a new one. before you do that try inserting new batteries into the sansa shaker and see if the product works. if not use the above mentioned solution.
Hello there. i hope i am not too late with my solution. The sansa shaker has acted like yours is some numerous times but the solution can be as simple as ever. Try replacing the battery with a brand new one. However if this solution does not work simply take it back to the place you bought it with the slip and tell them your problem... they will probably give you a new one.
Hi macys mom. try checking the audio files in the memory card through the computer. then if the are still there replace them with back up ones or just put in new ones and see if this resolves your problem. Hello audreytagle. i would advise you the same solution as macys mom and if that dose not help you get a brand new battery "energizer" to be specific. I hope i have solved the both of your problems thank you.
I had this problem and replaced the memory card with a new one and the sansa shaker began working perfectly. I don't know if the problem is with how the music was downloaded onto the card or if it was just a defective card.
