No! Actually Windows 7 Pro is VERY stable and a REAL workhorse AND performer!... Who needs a pig 8 or 10 that STILL is not working right?!
Ahough your HXSJ camera appears to be a nice one, it's only 480p ~ and there is not much "HD" to that! I would NEVERtrade my working Windows 7 Pro to get any 480p camera working!
Instead, cameras are SO reasonable today... get one that IS 'plug and play' and is compatible with Win 7!
Shucks, check out this AMAZING camera:
"USB 50MP HD Webcam Web Cam Camera for Computer PC Laptop" For under $5 SHIPPED!
Hello, the first step could be to check if camera driver is installed correctly, you can get latest drivers for Windows 7 from manufacturer web site or if it´s built -in camera from computer web site.
go to the below link and select windows 7 and 32 or 64 bit(depends on your windows 7) then at the bottom of the page click & download software:
http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/435/254?section=downloads&bit=&osid=14
There are usual isolated cases that the drivers for the webcam on your netbook might not have a compatible driver for windows 7.
you can tryo downloading the Vista Version of the webcam. Because windows vista ans windows 7 has the same architecture.
Here is a link for the download of the drivers: http://tinyurl.com/29qecrk Cheers!!
once there, click the brand dropdown under option 2 (for example notebooks) , then click the family dropdown (for example Lenovo G530) then click continue.
From the list, click the desired software under camera option
For example:
Camera Driver Bison,Chicony 1.9.0808.01/6.96.3419.03.1 2010-04-02 12.7 MB Windows 7 32bit Windows 7 64bit
click the camera driver which is compatible to the windows 7 OS then click I agree to the licensed aggrement then download the software.
Windows 7 may not support your web camera. You need to go to Acers web site and see if they have a driver update for windows 7, and if so your camera should work as it should after you update it.
