You may download a copy of the manual here. Its largest image size is 8 megapixels, and its best image quality is what it calls "Super".

I have a Kodak Easy Share CD82. What do the designs on top of the dial mean there is one red design What does that mean?

In order, starting with the "P"
P - Program - Access to more manual settings than Smart Capture mode.
"hand" - Blur Reduction - Reducing blur caused by camera shake or subject motion.
"VIDEO" - Capturing Video with sound
(red colored camera) - Smart Capture - General picture taking - it offers excellent image quality ad ease of use. The scene is analyzed for other content and for lighting. You can choose the best picture size and aspect tatio for your needs - just press the Menu button and choose picture size.
"Flower" - Close up - Use available light instead of flash, if possible.
"Sport" - Subjects that are in motion.
"SCN" - Scene - Point-and-shoot simplicity when taking pictures in practically any situation.
You can download the PDF file by Googling your camera make and model. I'll try adding it here with the link. You might have to copy and paste to your own browser.
Hope this helps. Mike

We lost manual and don't know how to set camera to take more than 26 pictures

The information you've provided with the question is not enough to give a specific answer. So please do not rate negatively.
I think that you're only able to shoot 26 images with your Camera.
This may be due to limitation in the internal memory as well as the high resolution you set in the Camera.
Using a higher capacity memory card(EG SD CArd, Memory stick etc) will resolve the issue without affecting the quality of the picture.
The another fact that affect the number of images stored in the Camera is the image size(EG:1MP, 2MP, 3MP, VGA etc. )
Here setting Lower resolution like VGA or 1 MB will allow you to capture more images.
However, in most cases, you cannot capture 26 images in good quality in normal Cameras (it comes around 2 to 5).. So you might be already set the Camera in Less Image size. Hence the available option is using a memory card..
Please get back to me with the exact model # of the Camera. I might be able to give more specific information.. http://www.fixya.com/users/shajanrs
Thanks for understanding..

How do i adjust image size since my mem card ca only store 10 pics only

Dear Friend,
All reputed company supply User Manual or Instruction Booklet along with their product to make the customer understand how to use the product. Most of the features are explained by illustrations. Make a habit to go threw such book and liturature supplied with the product.
In your case:
  1. Set the mode selector to Camera positionsony_baroda_4.jpg
  2. Turn on camera and press the Dustbin symbolsony_baroda_5.jpg The Image Size setup item appears
  3. Select the desired image size with up / down arrow keysony_baroda_6.jpg The image size is set.
After the setting is completed, press
(Image Size). The Image Size setup item
    disappears from the screen.
    • The image size value selected here is preserved
even when the camera is turned off.
Keep the size lowest or VGA when quality of the picture is not very important. To get best resolution you may choose larger size, at the cost of more memory usage and less number of pictures.
I hope this answer is useful to you and you will like to visit us again for your query.
Thanking you for using Fixya!

Image Size
The image size and quality setting determines the number of photos that can be saved and the amount of
memory required for each photo. The higher the photo quality the more memory it will use up. The image size
and quality will also affect the maximum size you can print your photo effectively. To set the Image size:
1. Press the Menu button.
2. Press Right/Left button to select the Image Size mode.

3. Press the Up/Down button to select the desired image size.
4. Press the Menu button to confirm, save and exit to standby mode.
If this still doesn't work, press the menu button twice.

Best qulity you can get with canon 350d is RAW format, but you cant shoot raw in automatic mode , when you switch camera to manual mode you will see raw option is enabled. if not JPEG (EXIF 2.21) - Fine will capture your images at 8MPX with 3456 x 2304 resolution.

Why does it take so long to take a picture?

You may be pressing the shutter all the way down at once. This forces the camera to focus, make exposure adjustments, and capture the image all at once. By pressing the shutter button partially to focus, then the rest of the way to capture the image, your camera can process pictures more quickly. If you are taking a picture in Uncompressed Tiff mode, the camera takes longer to process the image. Tiff images create large files and can take approximately 32 seconds to process. If you are trying to capture large, high quality images that you can print, try setting the camera to HyPict mode instead of Tiff mode.

Features of each record mode

The details for each record mode are as follows: RAW: RAW data is unprocessed image data in its original state to which white balance, sharpness, contrast, color conversion and other processes have not been applied. CAMEDIA Master can be used to display RAW data and save it in other image formats. A RAW plug-in is also available for Adobe Photoshop which also provides the ability to process images in 32-bit color depth. TIFF: This is the highest-quality mode. images are saved as uncompressed data, which is the best for printing or image processing on a computer. SHQ: This is a high quality mode using the JPEG format. Because the compression rate is very low, high quality images can be stored. HQ: This is a high quality mode using JPEG format, with medium compression. Because the compression rate is higher than SHQ, file sizes are smaller. More images can be saved to a card. The file size can be changed in the 3:2 or Enlarge size mode as well as SHQ. 3:2 Mode: Ordinarily the image aspect ratio is set to 4:3. Due to change the ratio to 3:2, the picture size becomes 2592 x 1728 so that the image can be printed without losing the image borders at a photo lab. 3:2 can be set in the TIFF, SHQ, or HQ mode. SQ1/SQ2: SQ1 is used for resolutions above 1600 x1200 and SQ2 is used for resolutions below 1600 x1200. For both, you can choose high compression to reduce noise or normal compression to save more images.
