My printer X3350 has trouble grabbing the paper from the paper tray. What can is the problem. I tried cleaning the grabber wheel. But it still won't grab the paper.

Leading cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:

1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.

2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.

3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.

5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path.

6. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.

7. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

After no problems at all, my Dell 926 AIO printer told me that there was a paper jam, but there was no paper stuck in it. Now, it keeps telling me that there is no paper loaded in it, but there is paper...

if you can, check to make sure nothing fell in it. ive pulled thumbtacks and a banana peel out of printers before. also sometimes the little rubber wheels that grab the paper dont grab as good as they once did. sometimes adding more paper or putting in less paper helps. i had this one printer that started not grabbing paper so once in a while i would get a wet paper towel and kinda hold it aginst the rubber things and like print a blank page so it would spin a little, but thats just me

My Canon L280 cannot grab the paper loaded. I've looked in the manual and online and don't see any similar problems. The machine seems to work properly except from the fact that it can't grab the paper...

Please make sure that there is nothing inside the paper tray. You can do this by turning the machine upside down and shake it. Also, see if the rollers inside the paper tray is spinning. If the rollers are not spinning then you need to contact your manufacturer to replace the unit.

Paper jams constantly, without fail.

Hello, this problem may be able to be fixed. You have started out correctly by looking inside for something out of place and cleaning the rubber rollers that "grip" the paper. Next thing would be to get a higher quality of paper (heavier weight) and see if that fixes the problem. Often times a slightly heavier stock paper will work. Some of the cheapest papers are more slipery and thin. This may not be the solution you are looking for, becuase you have to use more expensive paper, but I have found that on an older inkjet printer it will allow you to print. If this does solve your problem, then you know that its a paper grip problem and you can go in and take some course sandpaper to your rubber wheels to make them grab the paper better. If this doesn't work get a flashlight and look into the paper feed when it is trying to grab the paper to make sure the intake roller is turning correctly and try to manually feed it through there by pushing the top sheet through if possible. It has to be one thing or another and you just have to go through the process of elimination to see what is going wrong with the mechanical process of grabbing the paper and getting it to go through. Most printers have a manual load area where you can feed paper through. If you have that, you can verify that the paper feed channel is unblocked. Often a tiny piece of paper is lodged somewhere that stops a new sheet from making its way through.

I am having difficulty loading paper into the printer. When printing, the printer grabs the paper and tries to load crooked and then fails to load.

This could be for a number of reasons. Are you making sure that the guides are reasonably tight so that the paper cannot slew? Is the paper damp, or old (same thing)? Some papers, particularly cheaper types, have a coating on them which is powdery, which prevents the take-up wheels grabbing properly. Been there, done that.

Printer does not "grab" paper but can see parts turning

you have bad rollers. you can try to clean the roller with an alchohol wipe but I doubt it will help much. You need to have the roller replaced or get a new printer

Not grabbing paper

Try cleaning the rollers again and fan the paper. When you clean the rollers, use alcohol and a lint free cloth. Don't put too many sheets in the feed tray.

don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
someone replied to my problem, i tried it and its fixed 1st time, for others its taken a few attempts and then worked..
Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving PUSH it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now. hope this helps, let me know how you get on. Garty
