Question about GE 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range - Stainless-Steel
We have disconnected the power to the stove whenever we are not using it because the running fan is a pain. Would a blown broil element cause this problem? When you say "replace some electronics", do you mean the whole circuit board or some components on the board?
I do not think that the problem is caused by the broil element, but I cannot rule that out. I believe there is a short or an open in the circuitboard. Unless you find the short or open you will need to replace the entire control board.
