Question about Heating & Cooling

Minisplit flashing code - water dropping

Hi - my Toyo minisplit will flash error code - 4x in 8 seconds. At this time the fan will slow down and the unit will sometimes drop water from where air exits. After a few minutes - the unit will return to normal, only to start this again in 10? minutes. Seems to cool well.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Check your air filter and indoor coil fins if clean. If it is dirty it need to be clean. But if it is clean you need a qualified technician for this problem.

My thermostat is set on 68 degrees and it shows room temperature is 68, but the furnace still kickson, Honeywell said it has a 1 degree difference. so what's the problem then?

Yes there is a one degree tolerance, in fact my heater just kicked on and it is set to 67 and the inside temperature reads 67. It is also a Honeywell.

No steam coming out from steam cleaner

I know its a silly question but is it plugged in? and does it have water in it? Is there any lights on it to show that power is on? Have you plugged it in elsewhere? If no power light on check the fuse in the plug, only replace it with one of the same rating. If this cures the problem and the power light is on, it should be working, if it blows the fuse again then it has a short and needs repairing or replacing

My termost set to a/c, the fan auto, blow very well, but when I switch to heat and the fan auto, doesn't work, but if I put fan on work why?

the thermostat says to call for heat buildup in the work if its not cold enough the thermostat won't call for heat and I won't go on but when it gets cold and the thermostat set to the temperature you want or hire someone that doesn't cycle

Household steamer not heating at all

Well, first thing, just hook up service water and turn it on so the water heats up. Leave it long enough for water to get hot. If water doesn't get hot like should, then heating unit is malfunctioning. If it is getting hot after a while, you pull the handle trigger and water comes out, you have to wait long enough for the hot water to get to the head/trigger for it to go into the nozzles. If it was working ok before, and you were waiting for the water to heat, then then it should be working fine. Tell me what is happening if you wait for water to heat and get to the nozzles. I'm right here at my computer and we can get this thing going if the heater unit is good. Regards, Rigger.

Conair Lysol hand held steamer

Does it tell you to add salt to the water?(I have a cheapo little steamer that requires salt to increase the conductivity of the water-it just creates steam by running AC voltage through the water in the tank)

Flashing re co

Re Co stands for Recovery Mode. That means if you have programed your thermostat to be at say 72° at 5:00 then it should kick on in Recovery Mode several minutes before 5 in order to reach that temperature. This is normal and doesn't indicate that something is wrong, just that your thermostat is trying to reach or recover the programed temperature.
