My desktop computer will display anything when turned on, and the fan and hardrive both make a loud constant noise.

Maybe you need a larger power supply depending on if you might have added more hardware such as a graphics card, or an extra monitor to your system. This sometimes results in an inefficient supply of power, making your fan to your power supply work harder, thus making noise.

Either the VGA card, or the LCD, or the Inverter, or all, of these may be faulty, take it back, and get another one, this is unacceptable, and unmerchantable, get a new laptop, or your money back.. do NOT accept repair. This is bad machine and will only get worse. Sorry about that.

My compaq laptop that i have just broke my mom bought it for me ot even a year ago.my sister jumped and fell on the keys and know my screen when it turn on is upsidedown the opposite that it usually is..

check your display settings. Most computers today have a nifty utility that allows the user to rotate the screen and even invert it completely. Could be located in your system tray (along with the clock) This can also be triggered via a combination of keystrokes, which was accidentally pressed when your sister fell on the keys.
