There will be a port on the side or bottom of the machine for air to get to the fan. You will be able to see or hear the fan run thorough this port. Start the machine and listen for the fan, you should be able to hear the fan clearly, when running. If the fan is working properly it will turn on and off in regular intervals to cool the machine.

I left my hp4320s probook charging overnight now it will not even go on

I think leaving your computer charging overnight is not really bad. I think there is a fault, in the power hardware of the pc.
You should see a technician..

Again, be sure that the charger is still working properly or try getting a new charger and putting on the computer, without a charger.

I accidentally rotated the screen on my laptop, how do I get my screen back

Really need to specify computer details and operating system to get the best answer. Remember the more details in the problem, the better someone can help you.
I believe the easiest way if you are using windows is to just hold the CTRL key and the ALT key and use the arrows for desired direction
CTRL + ALT + ARROWS
Some computers use a little different hot key for example:
SHIFT+ALT+ARROWS
SHould be one of the two or VERY similar.
GOOD LUCK! I really hope this helps you. I am sure that is very frustrating.

I have an Acer Aspire 9500 and lately it has started to turn off after about 30 min. Any idea what might be the problem?

Most likely, either bad fan(s) or a bad power supply and low battery.

Does the bottom get really hot? After 10 minutes, do you feel hot air blowing out of it anywhere? Do you hear a whizzing fan sound? You may be able to simply blow the dust out, do NOT use canned air, just blow in puffs like you were trying to blow out a match. You may need new fans.

Let it stay turned off but plugged in overnight. Does it last longer
than 30 minutes in the morning? That could indicate a weak power supply that the battery is making up for...till the battery runs out.

My laptop gets so hot ; and the cooling fan blows out really hot air.

Well I can tell you that in my experience they get real hot too hot in my opinion, however, these days the laptops seem to emit an enormous amount of heat, but it seems to do NO harm, If you are worried get yourself a laptop Cooling Pad, they are cheap, they work, and will keep your unit cooler.

The fan is constantly running and part of the laptop gets really hot

Check the vent where the fan should be blowing out hot/warm air for good flow. If you don't have any air flowing, you might find that the fan inlets are plugged with dust, or the fan blades are covered with dust/fuzz. Clean all the air passages, inlets and outlets to make sure the fan can flow enough air to cool the computer.

Powers up but black screen

For that you need to refix RAM memory.
It is in back side of laptop.
check in back side you find 1 plate upon battery open it then refix RAM memory.
if still same issue then you have to reset bios settings for that open back cover of laptop then find motherbord pull CMOS cell from motherbord for 10 minutes so all settings goes to factory defaults.
Then check.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Thanks.

My fan makes so much noise especially when i play video. Can someone help

The problem with fans is there really isn't much you can do with them. Normally they begin to make noise as the bearing assembly begins to wear, or it might just need to be cleaned. In either case you need to crack open the case on your laptop, then you can inspect the fan. You can try cleaning it at that point, but usually its easier just to replace it. The reason why it makes more noise when you play videos is because video media requires more system resources to run, which also generates more heat. So, while you have your laptop open you may want to check your video card (which should also have a fan) and make sure that its clean. A dirty video card will **** out a lot earlier than it should.

Overheat?

your cooling fan may not be working propperly, check to see if the processor or rams are damaged

Try reformatting it and if it still stalls that your problem is your processor if it cant complete format propperly its your rams or hardrive..

BUT check your cooling fan, that system should not overheat unless the fan is not working propperly (spin fast enough or too small)
