The push button to start my maytag dryer SDE305DAYW won't start dryer

hi thanksfor the question the noise that you hear could be the blower wheel this is a very common problem with maytag the blower is located at the left front

Check your fuses or breaker...If you have fuses, replace both 30 amp fuses. If you have breakers, flip breaker to OFF then back to ON, then try your dryer to see if it heats.
