Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
This morning, I was playing Oblivion, and I must have been playing for about 1-2 hours. I switched it off for about an hour, and came back to play some music.
But, when I turned it back on, I got this message saying the Hard Drive couldn't be found. I also noticed a funny noise coming from the system which I've never heard before - almost like a constant beep.
Now, I've read some place else that if I dust the system out, it would work, and/or if I keep turning the system on and off for a while, it would work.
I can do the turning off and on, but I was wondering how easy it is to take the Hard Drive out, and give the inside a little clean. Maybe even taking the Hard Drive out and putting it back in would help, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be fantastic - especially if I'm told I don't need to spend out a lot of money! XD
Thanks in advance...
Well if you have the 3 year warranty for it you should send it in to sony because if you open the playstation yourself it will void your warranty if you dont you should try to find a place that can take the hard drive out for you because if you try to do it yourself you could seriously mess up your ps3
